I am interested in CLAYTONs in Stockport 1830 to 1850 as some were resident
with my EDGE family in 1841 and 1851 and are in-laws or cousins. We have not
been able to find any other references than the census so far and I think a
friend has already looked.

I am sorry but as I did not see the original message I do not know the
context. This is the reverse complaint to those who do not like original
messages appended - I do (but only the last is necessary)!

Eddie

Hi Janet,
I'm not able to fully answer your question unfortunately but I found a
mention of a wedding 5/8/1832
Robert Barber and Judith CLAYTON by Banns at Stockport.
Original Records were Archived 1584 - 1955
I wonder if you can make progress with :
Stockport Central Library, Wellington Road South, Stockport SK1 3RS.
