Marilyn and Dave,
Having just spent several hours this week scanning the 1841, 1851 and 1861
censuses for Hyde and Newton, there were certainly a number of CASH families
spotted. The reason they stand out is that some years ago, there was a Ralph
CASH living in Gee Cross who believed he was related to one of my wife's
families, although it was never proven. As a result, whenever I see the name
in a Hyde connection, it registers (if you'll pardon the pun!)

I didn't make any notes, but I hope to do some more work on the 1861 and
1871 censuses this week in search of my wife's RIDGWAY family and if I see
any more CASH references I will let you know.
