Hi all.
I have an engine fitter in my family tree who was the husaband of a great
great aunt who was a journeyman engine fitter from about 1848 to 1871 when
he died of TB.
As a family, they travelled about from Warrington to Salford to Over and
back and to over the years,
The point is that one of their daughters died while they were living at
Over and their abode was listed as "Salt Works".
I had originally and without any reaaon other than the fact they moved
about, supposd him to work for the railways as they were always near a
railway.
His family had all been saltgetters in the Northwich area and most of them
died young of TB too.
Kind Regards
Ann Brown
