There is a marriage on Cheshire BMD – James SHAW to a MARIA WHITTAKER
1856-1860 - which does not appear on Free BMD.

I normally order certificates from the GRO, but cannot without the relevant
number. I am aware I can print off a form from Cheshire BMD and complete
the operation by snail-mail, but is there an alternative and why does
Cheshire BMD have this marriage but not Free BMD?

Is my best course just to print the form off and get on with it?
