Hi all
In all seriousness I have to give thanks to AOL for having released my
server and my email address from blocking earlier this year, due no doubt
to my searching and gathering-up of an amazing number of complaints against
them from various websites around the world. It was interesting, and very
saddening, to see the number of small companies who claimed their mail was
being blocked by AOL, and for no known reason, except purported spam. One
wonders if some of them went to the wall because of this? I decided the
only way to get my email free and running again was to hit AOL with all
these complaints in bulk, as I had complained to them numerous times and
they simply took no notice. How many facilitators had answered my emails
with a standard letter? Lots. Well, obviously after receiving this
information in great bulk, and knowing it was being spread out there on the
internet, that started a fire within their ranks. Within a day or two my
email was set free. My message, as always, is don't be a whimp, get out
there and go for it. We are not here to be trampled upon. And to AOL I say,
grateful thanks for wising up at last, but obviously not in every case as
we see happening now.
Cheerio
Graham
