I am trying to trace back the family of John & Elizabeth EGERTON.

In 1891 they are at the The Green, Middlewich Rd Sproston.

In 1881 they were at Cross Lanes, Cotton, as follows:
John E. 41 b.Middlewich AgLab (born Kinderton in 1891 census)
Elizabeth E. 38 b.Holmes Chapel (born Cotton in 1891 census)
Joseph E. 11 b. Holmes Chapel (born Cotton in 1891 census)
Thomas E. 8 b. Holmes Chapel (born Cotton in 1891 census)
Maria E. 1 b. Holmes Chapel (born Cotton in 1891 census)

The birthplaces differences are trivial. I suspect there was a 15y old son
Samuel who was a farm servant elsewhere in 1881.

I would be very grateful if someone can place the family in 1871 for me.
