Hi Gay

I think that you will find that your Grandfather was apprenticed for the 5
years. My Grandfather was apprenticed as a Carpenter and Joiner. I have
his indenture, which also says 5 years and his Father had to pay a small fee
to the person whom my Grandfather was apprenticed to.
