The birth certificate of my great grandmother, Ellen Beaden Hobson,
born 1842 Warrington, reveals that her mother was Catharine Whiteledge
Beaden.
According to the 1851 Warrington census, Catharine was a widow, born
Cheshire, High Leigh. Does anyone have information on the Whiteledge
family? Using computer resources, I have found nothing on them in
Cheshire. I do find a Whitelegg family in some Lancashire records.
Is anyone familiar with this family or have any information on them?
