Hi Antony,
Yes, there were the same children in the 1881 and 1891 census, but in 1901
no children are with him and Angelina. There is also another Robert Dean
born about the same year (1850-51) in about the same area. I have not been
able to follow through on the other one either hence thought I must be
mixing them up!
I thought geography would help but it confuses me further.

Didn't he have any children with him any of the censuses
whose age might be consistent in two censuses ?
