You can see a picture of 84 Mill Street as it was in 1996 in my family
history (URL below).
Go to Chapter 4, and to the section headed "Samuel's Wife and First
Children"; then in the second paragraph click on "this house". Since the
house is called "East View", it confirms Adrian's comments that the odd
numbers were on the east side of the street, since the view from 84 would be
of the (now missing) houses across the way.
