Hello,

I am researching the name Pemberton. My findings so far can be traced back to c1640. However, I have a very weak link in my chain.

I wonder if anyone can help.

I am looking for any information at all on Henry Pemberton, baptised in Chester Holy Trinity in 1735. Also, any information on Henry Pemberton Captain in the Royal Navy, died 1796 aged 62 in Chester.

Are these the same man?
