Hi Audrey

Assume you have got the 1820 marriage of William Armstrong to Phoebe
Morris in Bunbury from the IGI

And the 1833 christening of Charlotte Green mother Sarah Green no father
listed which would put her age in 1861 more correct than 51

First guess is that Green is maiden name and married someone called
Carter possibly after Mary's birth

Also you might have to look at the Shropshire area as well here bearing
in mind Whitchurch location
