I have two marriages involving a Richard and Elizabeth Whittingham.One marriage took place in Bunbury on Oct 12,1779 and the other on Jan 18,1780 in Marbury.
My 3xg grandfather, Ahab Whittingham, was baptized on July 16,1780 in Marbury to Richard and Elizabeth Whittingham. While I am fairly positive that the couple married in Marbury are his parents there is a lingering doubt that I could be wrong.
Does any lister have a suggestion as to how I can resolve my dilemma please?
