As for Bunbury, Crewe Library have a copy of these on film, going back to
1559. According to a list from Crewe Library they also have Wistaston St.
Mary's from 1572 to 1945, although I don't remember seeing them when I last
went in February.

Crewe Library is open 9:30 till 4pm on Saturday see
http://www.cheshire.gov.uk/Library/ for further contact details as it would
be best to reserve a reader. I have not used the Nantwich readers, but Crewe
has 2 film readers, 1 manual and one powered with large screen.

Hope this is helpful.

Many Thanks
Paul Gray

Subject: [CHS] Visit to Cheshire

Dear All,

I'm going to be visiting Nantwich, Wistaston and Bunbury churches this
weekend. I've not done this before on family history matters.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Would I be able to look at the parish
registers? Someone has suggested that I contact the vicar first but none
have
yet returned my calls.

Any ideas appreciated.
