Hi Peter,
In Warrington all the Cemetery records for the town area are at the
Cremetorium. So it would be worth getting in touch with Chester
Cremetorium, to see if they do the same.
If they do have all the Cem. records, and you have the EXACT date of death,
you will probably be able to get a lookup. If you do find your man you
would be able to see who owns the grave, and how many people are buried in
it, plus all their details too.
It is a great way of finding family details that you may not have known
about.
I would not recommend trying it if you don't have a pretty near exact date,
as there would be far too many pages to search, and it would take far too
long.
