Thanks for the reply Ron,regarding the adoption laws, the problem was back
in 1912 when my father and his twin was born, my grandmother would not have
known she was having twins until they were born and they were also
illegitimate, which would have been a double shock,for her parents to say
the least, but they were good enough to help her and helped with my father,
his twin being given away to relatives as mentioned, and who was to know
back then that there was a twin, only the fore mentioned people. I checked
with Ashbourne for a certificate for the twin, but to no avail, I even put
an advert in the local news paper, but had replys and he's proable dead now
like dad, so it looks like he's lost forever, a pity, Regards Ann.
