I want advice please about searching for a death in indexes.
Are the fiche still the quickest way to find a death when you have very
little idea of when it occurred ?
There seem to be a number of pay per view sites.
I have only tried Ancestry at a local library and it seemed slower than
sliding a fiche into a viewer.
I am searching for the deaths of Samuel Macara/McAra ( married 1907
Everton) and his brother James Finlay Macara/McAra 1912 West Derby-St
Mary The Virgin, tobacconist 1914
Kelly's Directory of Cheshire, 1914
James F Macara
Tobacconist
10 King St
Egremont
I would be very grateful for any advice,
Anne
