Thanks to Anthony and Bob for the info they sent me.

If anyone can trace Elizabeth MANNING b. 1856 Stalybridge (possibly the
Lancashire side - Ridge Hill or Heyrod) on the 1861 census I'd be very
grateful. I'd like to know who her parents are to see if they are
related to her adoptive parents Eli and Hannah Swindells who Elizabeth
is with on the 1871 census.
