Ellen is right! I have encountered many many variations of the name MICKLETHWAITE - and not just in past records! The 'thw' sound is impossible for some people, so BREATHIT, BRAYFIT are not unexpected. When Ancestry transcribes my name as MICKSELLOW, MAKELTHERDE, MICHELTHWARK, you see the problems you are up against! Keep thinking laterally! Good luck!
