Hi Dianne.
Chester Registration District and the subsequent West Cheshire Registration
District relate to the Registration of the birth (and marriages & deaths)
not the baptism. There are no films of the registrations. What you are
looking for are the baptism's and they are church records. You would need to
find the names of possible churches in the area, including non-conformist,
and then check if they have been filmed. Cheshire Record Office might be
able to help.
