Subject: [CHS] Can't find TOMLINSON/HALLWORTH Marriage

Is it me?

I started researching this family history business as is usually
recommended by noting down what I already knew. During a lull, I have
decided to actually look for my grandeparent's wedding - Lawrence
TOMLINSON to Frances HALLWORTH. Neither of them moved out of the
Stockport/Hazel Grove Area so the marriage should appear on Cheshire
BMD but no matter which way I enter it I can't find it.

Could SKS out there check for me please, to confirm that I'm not
loosing it!! I'm prety sure they married - I remember going to the
golden wedding party - and what's more, I have a couple of photo's
taken at the reception (you wouldn't get dressed up like that for the
fun of it). I'm not sure exactly where they married, which was why I
decided to look it up in the first place but there's a date on the
photo's of 9th August 1924 which would tie in nicely with my father's
birth on 20th July 1925. My grandmother's sisters married at Edgeley
Methodist Church.
