HI

There might be an eventual connection with my Bond family

Mary Bond married George Bowker Cock (he later added an 's' to his name to
become Cocks)
6 Jul 1835 in Manchester Cathedral
She was the daughter of William Bond and Ann Knight of Denton, b abt 1810
William Bond was a Hatter b abt 1784
He was son of Richard Bond and Mary Lowe, Richard another Hatter
Richard b abt 1758 to John Bond and Ellen, in Denton.

There is a family story of money held in chancery.
I never found any evidence of that,
Bond has stayed in the family as a middle name to this day, my mother, and
my cousins son have this middle name

Bob
