Hi Adrian
I found this site about a week ago and was astonished to find my 3 x
grandfather who lived in Everton, owning tenanted land in Old Chester Road,
Tranmere in 1856-1857. I wasn't aware of this and didn't think he had
anything to do with Wirral. Two of his grandsons did move to Hoylake from
Liverpool 40 years later.
The site is also good for a short period on the Hoylake Parish Registers and
the Hoylake BT's (amongst a few other parishes) and you can of course browse
these collections page by page.
Regards
Gail

I understand this is a Beta site from Family Search
http://search.labs.familysearch.org
I hadn't tried it before - but was hugely interested to find a link on the
front page to "England, Cheshire, Register of Electors 1842-1900"
I haven't yet worked out the best way of using it but I can imagine this
contains some gems for us!
Adrian
