I am almost certain that the URL http://labs.familysearch.org/ quoted by
Bob was the original one given out on the list, with a further instruction to
go about half way down to the page to Records Search, which took you to a page
to register. Once registered you could access the search pages by going to
the second URL http://search.labs.familysearch.org and entering your email
addy.

Its the first page which seems to have gone awol, but it seems you might
still be allowed to register by going to the second URL.

I was very lucky and managed to get the images for a whole host of people
who married at Castle Hall, Holy Trinity, Stalybridge plus a couple in Marple.
This is only in its early stages and even for the churches which are covered
it doesn't look like they are complete for all dates.
