Good morning list

This is my first ever posting to this list so a few words of
introduction seem appropriate. I have been researching my family history
since 2001, following the release of the 1901 census. I've done pretty
well in that time, especially with my own NOURSE line. I've traced it
back (as NURSE) to Norfolk in the 1650's, but my concern now is with my
great grandfather Edmund Ackland NOURSE who in 1884 married Martha HAND
and went on to live the rest of his life in the Birkenhead/Tranmere area
until his death in 1923. He and Martha had six children in the period
1884 to 1894 and there are connections through marriage to the names
McCULLOUGH, COWLEY, WHITLEY, KIRBY and INGRAM.

By a great coincidence there was another totally unrelated NOURSE family
in Birkenhead area in that period, the head of that family being John
James NOURSE, born in Ireland.

Does my NOURSE family ring any bells with anyone?

I look forward to receiving any response.

Best wishes

Ron
