Hi LuAnn
Cruid Lanes and also Crewood Lanes could be an area about 2 miles NE of
Kingsley where Crewood Hall is sited. I have 2 relatives , one in 1726 of
'Cruid Lanes, Aston by Sutton' and another about 1700 of 'Dutton, Crewood
Lanes'. There is also another entry I have come across in 1702 'of Cruett
Lands in Dutton Lordship'.
All the above can be found in the records of Aston Chapelry and more info is
available on Google by entering the various combinations of names.
