Subject: [CHS] : Not Genealogy, but Localogy (?)
Hi All,
The majority of us "do" Genealogy - but some of us deviate occasionally to
explore "Localogy". My word for the Timeline of a place - such as a Church,
House, Street or Area.
Whereas Genealogy is fairly well documented - Localogy is not.
Today, I spotted a new website which I think may serve to address the
"Localogy" problem.
(If I have interpreted it correctly) Viz.:--
YourArchives.NationalArchives.gov.uk
So, I have joined this "Beta" site - and submitted my "unique" address and
some of its history.
Similar to Wikipedia - the content may be modified by myself or others. We
shall see.
At the moment - my reason for joining this website is Curiosity and to see
how it works.
Ricky Cooper.
