Thank you very much to all the people who replied to my query.
I have looked at the website given by Anne and noted that to get info from
the Naval records you have to prove your relationship with the Wren by form
filling and sending in all necessary birth and marriage certificates etc.
I have also found that there is a section on Friends Reunited. I was
asking about this for a member of my family whose Grandmother was a Wren, a
fact she only found out at the lady's funeral. She will decide whether it
is worthwhile a further search.
