This makes me think of the "flits" my grandfather's family used to do when
he was a boy. When the rent was due all the family's possessions were placed
on a hand cart...
I dread to think how many lorries my family could fill in this day and age!

Hi Listers.

After reading Pauls submission about a will and the value of bedding and
honey and a hedging knife, it made me realize just how much 'stuff' on
average, we possess. I started thinking how long it would take to make an
inventory of everything in our small two bedroom house and it boggles my
mind.We may think that man was "poor" in our sense of the word but I wonder.
Bedding and sustainance and a work tool. Maybe thats all we all need .

Thanks for that Paul.
