Hi Jim,

If you look on www.cheshirebmd.org.uk you will find a marriage between a
Samuel BIRKENHEAD and Ruth ASTLES in 1904 AT St Paul, Danebridge.

There is also a Beatrice THOMPSON dying in 1943 in the Northwich
registration district (no age given) although the GRO index shows her as
being aged 26.

I am returning to genealogy after about a 10 year break. Trying to sort
out a few little twigs.

My father's first wife Beatrice (Daisy) BIRKENHEAD was born to ?
BIRKENHEAD and ? ASTLES in Jun Qtr of 1917 in Northwich district.

Siblings include: (all Northwich district)

Mary BIRKENHEAD Dec Qtr 1914
James BIRKENHEAD Jun Qtr 1919
George BIRKENHEAD Jun Qtr 1924

Beatrice BIRKENHEAD married James Randolph THOMPSON Dec Qtr 1936 Northwich

Beatrice died late 1930s early 1940s.

So from the above I would like to try and track down a marriage between.
BIRKENHEAD and ASTLES circa 1910-1913???

I know I can order a marriage certificate & birth certificate for
Beatrice, but as I do not work, if I can find it in a local register it
would be a big help. Also would like to track down her death, it was
certainly pre 1945 and probably very close to that year. I think she
would have been living with her mother-in-law EuniceTHOMPSON in
Northwich at the time of her death.

Interested in any other bits perhaps relating to the above.
