Depends what features you use.

It's a completely different program so the user interfaces are all
different. We use FTM mainly for chart creation and find the older
versions a lot easier to use and understand.

But, as I always used to say during my IT career, the best piece of
software for you is the one which gives you what you want, not what I want :-)
