Well, my week's holiday has passed absorbed in what was meant to be a quick
search and I am a little closer to answering some of my questions.
Thank you to Elaine (Cheshire) and Bill (?Canada/USA) who helped me to establish
that Roland and Elizabeth Shuttleworth and their family did emigrate to Canada,
that Roland was active in the war and I am quietly confident that the family did
not return to England as I originally wondered.

But as with all questions posed and answered, it has raised many more questions.
I may be back for more help in the future.
