Have you looked at the images, do both burials have the name of the church at the top of the page, if not, then it could be an indexing problem. I've come across baptisms that are listed as Mottram C of E then the same one is listed as Non conformist, when you look at the image its the same page, so the problem is the index.

Subject: [CHS] Dual Burials - Macclesfield
Hi All,
I've been tracking some of the Henshall family groups and have come across
one or two who seem to have been buried in 2 places on the same day.
They are coming up in St Michaels and Christ Church, Macclesfield. Would it
have been common for a burial to be reported in both places?
Same name, same age, same burial date, same place of residence - listed on
both registers.
Any ideas?
Regards
