I would strongly recommend visiting the Newberry Library when you come to
Chicago, because it has a complete set of the city directories. You can search
the location yearly for your surname.
The Polish Genealogical Society has volunteers to consult with you at the
Polish Museum library only on Wednesdays and the third Saturday from 10 to 1.
The library has LDS records for neighboring churches (St. Stanislaus Kostka,
Holy Trinity, and St. John Cantius). The Wilmette branch of the LDS (see
_www.familysearch.org_ (http://www.familysearch.org) ) holds in its permanent
collection a LOT of church records for Chicago. Again, their hours are limited.
