1863. Died in captivity 10 Apr 1864 at Andersonville GA. Captured at
Rogersville. Confined at Belle Isle and Andersonville. Cause of death
diarrhea. Grave 459.

Childers, Joel R; Sergeant; C; Knox Co TN; 19; 21 Aug 1861 - 6 Nov 1863.
Died in captivity 12 Feb 1864 at Richmond VA. Promoted to Sergeant 1 May
1863. Captured at Rogersville. Confined at Richmond. Admitted to
Hospital 21 at Richmond 5 Feb 1864. Died there 12 Feb 1864. Cause of
death phthisis and diarrhea.

Childers, Thomas L; Private; G; Unk; 32; 25 Oct 1861 - 6 Nov 1863. Died
in captivity 25 Jun 1864 at Andersonville GA. Deserted probably 10 Aug
1862. Returned and restored to duty 16 May 1863. Captured at
Rogersville. Confined at Belle Isle and Andersonville. Cause of death
constipation. Grave 2466.

Childress, Calvin N; Sergeant Major; C, F&S, C; Anderson Co TN; 25; 21
Aug 1861 - 6 Nov 1863. Died in captivity 18 May 1864 at Andersonville
GA. Promoted to 1st Sergeant Co C 16 Jul 1862. Promoted to Sergeant
Major of regiment 18 Oct 1862. Returned to ranks by his own request 25
Jan 1863. Captured at Rogersville. Confined at Belle Isle and
Andersonville. Death not confirmed by Andersonville records.
