My Great Aunt Lena Stanley had a church built in the early 1900's in Naking China. She also had a school for girls she was a missionary. And lived their for many years . Also her cousin Esther Butler was a missionary and died in China. Any help would be great. Please Email me at

My English paternal grandparents (pgps) died in China in the 1920s and I've received some wonderful help from a chap at Bristol University who works on the project:

I'll try to look in the next couple of days for my info about Anglican churches in China (my pgps lived and died in Shanghai) and will see if it will help re Naking. Hang in there.
