Good Morning,
I am trying to find information on Bridget, she was a slave belonging to
David ChisholmeJr., Lousia County, Virginia. In 1809 he moved to Rocky Creek
Plantation in Chester, South Carolina, he took her with him, and some other
slaves. I am trying to find out more about the her and the other slaves that
he took. I am hoping that someone who is researching this family may have
slave information and can share it with me. I have ordered a couple of books
from the Louisa County Historical Society, and it List a Ned Chisholm who is
African American Belonging to the Little River Baptist Church, H e has the
same name of my great great grandfather, and I was wondering if there is any
connection since his mother came from Louisa County. I would love to hear
from all Chisholms black and white. Looking forward to hearing from soon.
