Do you really have John and Robert de Cheseholme in your family tree? These gentlemen were both born in Scotland, I wonder if you have considered joining the Chisholm DNA project. There are already 3 English Chisholms taking the plunge, and 2 from NZ, one from USA. The project is in is very early stages, with only 1 full result so far, but next bunch coming out soon.With DNA we will eventually be able to sort out all Chisholmes Chisholms Cheesome, Chism, doesnt matter how man times you change the spelling, the DNA will remain relatively constant.
