Sandifers and Goins

I would like more information since there is a belief that Sandifer and
Standerfer are part of the same larger family just different spellings.
Carol Yarborough has a really terrific site all about the variant names of
Sandifer, Standerfer, etc. Again, here belief is that they are descended
from the same basic core family in VA before the Revolutionary War. What do
you know about Melungeons in that family, too?

We know that our Standerfer family finally wound up in AK and Indian
Territory. Archibald Standerfer we know was born in VA about 1775. We are
just having some difficulty tracing his ancestors (the rest of ours...ha!)

All those out there who know about the Standerfers or variant spellings
thereof may write me and I will provide you with the line I have so far and
