Oh, I don't know the language at all. Wish I did. My uncle did, but we did
not live close.
I am sure someone on here can help you. There are a lot of very
knowledgeable people on here. I hope someone answers you. I would be
interested in the answer.
I do know that the title of Chief was earned. It was not inherited.
Nowadays, the chiefs are elected. Even though I live in California, I can
vote with an absentee ballot for the principal chief. As far as I know,
there is no official title for his wife or children.
