Dear Dona,
Alexandria, Alabama is located in the northeastern side of Alabama. It is
between Anniston in Calhoun County and Gadsden in Etowah County. This is
traditionally Cherokee and/or Creek country. Choctaw country was on
southwest side of state and on into Mississippi. The rivers determined the
traditional boundary lines.
