Dear All
This is how the father of the Bride described his occupation at the
Wedding of Richard Whiteley and Martha Hamer at Wakefield Yorkshire on
22 July 1848. In the 1881 census Martha is recorded as born in Scotland
but there is no indication of his residence at the time of the wedding
Can anyone be of direct assistance or suggest where I should look
