Subject: Hemminger-Parrott, high wire act??

Good evening folks. I am new to your list, and wanted to get out my
family information, just in case there might be someone out there that
can help me "connect"

Family history has it that my grandmother, Leona Hemminger, was in a
circus,( name unknown), and preformed as a, high flier. My
grandfather,Roy Harrison Parrott supposedly saw her in a parade in
Marion, OH...hopped right into the parade, and eventually became
involved as part of a high wire act.

They had two children, my aunt, born in Deluth, around 1916, and my dad
was born in Fargo, ND...Nov 1919. I have tried to figure out why a
circus would "winter over" in such cold winter states.
