Subject: Confederate women from Louisiana

Might anyone have an female ancestor who aided the Confederacy from
Louisiana? A new UDC chapter is being formed and the ladies are looking for
a name for the chapter. Doesn't have to have been a spy......but that might
be interesting......just someone who aided the soldiers or her home area or
worked in hospitals or etc.
