Help !! I am trying to find out more information on the Squirrel Hunters and
what they did during the Civil War. My ancestor Abisha Benjamin Way was one
of these men. After the war he received a certificate of commendation from
the Governor (Todd, I believe). Until a few years ago, my mother had
Abisha's letter. I would like to know if there are copies available and if
so, how do I go about getting one.
