Brian ,Yes i have traced the immediate family of my grandfather Robert Hunter b1879 York .It gives his father b 1851 in Elgin on the 1901 but his death Certificate says Bellie which is where his father married and the rest of children where born.According to my uncle John Allan Hunter b 1924 in Dudley his fathers family have not been in touch with any Hunter relative since before WW2 hence my search for anyone connected..
I am really stuck on Robert Hunter who married Margaret Clark 1822 in Kilmarnock ,i have a Margaret Hunter on the 1841 Census with children Robert & George in Kilmarnock but no husband and it says she was born outside Census County ,another search to be made for her birth county.
Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated
