Hello,

Not everyone with the last name of Hunter is of Scottish ancestry, many are
of German ancestry who translated their name into English when immigrating
to America. The Scottish Hunters are of Norman ancestry as the early
ancestors were royal huntsman and adopted Hunter, Huntar, and other
variations when surnames came into use.
