Hello,

I haven't posted here in a long time, so I thought I'd just mention briefly
the families which "many" people are searching for.

The people we know about are:
Patrick KERR, and his wife, Elizabeth (KERR?) KERR
Mary (KERR) married to William HENDERSON
Miss Elizabeth KERR (married in Canada)
John KERR married to Elizabeth HENDERSON
(Samuel and Catherine (?) HENDERSON)

They were all reportedly born in the northern part of Co. Sligo, Ireland, in
the 1780 to 1805 timeframe. The married couples married there. In
1823, they all traveled as a family-group to Canada, and settled in
Argenteuil Co. in Quebec Province.

All the couples had many children, so there are many people researching
them. But, none of us can find out who the parents were - back in Co.
Sligo ! (And, the Sligo Heritage Centre couldn't help, either.)

Betty (near Lowell, MA, USA)

P.S. I have heard from people on the Sligo List that there were KERR
families in that county in the 1800's, but no one that I know of traced
those families back.
