Having read the postings concerning the photographer J. Coss not long ago, I was surprised last night to turn over an old family photo and see his name. For those who may be interested, his studio address is given as "Main Street, Over the Mad River National Bank, Springfield, Ohio". The photo is undated, but my g-grandfther was born in in 1847 and appears to be anywhere from 20 to 30 years of age in the photo, which falls in line with previous postings concerning when this photographer was active in Springfield.
