It would seem that there may have been several Edwards. Here's what I've
found hoping it uncovers more information and may help those that are
searching. I have placed birth ranges in Brackets after each individual.

Now, Edward Clay m. Polly Watkins 11 Dec 1802 in Halifax Co., VA. I have
found that an Edward and Polly Clay sold some land in Nottoway Co. in 1825.
Also, an Edward Clay married Sarah Lester 12 Jul 1838 in Dinwiddie Co., VA.
Did Polly die and Edward married Sarah? And did Sarah die before 1850? More
to come!

Questions; Is the Edward in TN the husband of Polly or someone else? And, is
this same Edward the son of Edward Sr? Could the Edward in VA have also
married a "Polly"? The Edward in VA in 1810 had but a wife, no children.
Edward of 1820 had no children until after 1810. However, Edward in TN had
children before 1810.

There are hundres of questions I have about the Edward's but not now. If
anyone or has anyone figured this part of the family out? And, are we looking
at three different Edwards in VA and TN? Anyone have any ideas?
